How it works

Three steps between you
and a lot you won’t miss.

Scout sits next to your existing Vista workflow. You still bid on Vista — Scout just keeps watch between your visits.

STEP 01find

Save a search once.

Keyword plus condition — that’s the filter. New matches arrive in one daily digest email at 8:00 AM ET instead of you re-running the search all week.

“air fryer”condition: Newdigest 8:00 ET

STEP 02review

See the whole lot at a glance.

Photo gallery, current bid, bid count, MSRP, condition — refreshed hourly. Amazon and Walmart links sit right there when we found the item at retail.

STEP 03decide

Bid with a reference point.

Every lot gets a target price — MSRP times your percentage for its condition. Watch it, get an email 30, 60, or 120 minutes before close, and make the call on Vista.

Vista’s framing: “92% off MSRP.” Fine — but there’s no reference point for your bid, and the price you saw an hour ago may already be gone. You keep the tab open, or you miss it.

What’s in the tool

Six things Scout does so you
don’t have to open 40 tabs.

01 — monitoring

Checked every hour. All day.

Scout refreshes the full Vista Charlotte lot list every hour, around the clock. Current bids, bid counts, and statuses stay fresh without you keeping a tab open.

02 — lot pagesphotos · bids · MSRP

Every lot, one page.

Photo gallery, current bid, number of bids, MSRP, and condition — all in one place. Plus Amazon and Walmart links for a retail comparison, where we found the same item.

03 — target priceMSRP × condition

A reference, not a guess.

Each lot gets a target price: MSRP times a percentage you set per condition — New, Like New, Light Use, Used, Damaged. Or type your own target on any lot.

04 — watchlist30-day history

Watch it to the end.

Add lots to your watchlist and Scout follows them through close. Final prices stick around for 30 days, and the whole list exports to CSV whenever you want it.

05 — saved searchesdaily @ 8:00 ET

One email a day, not forty.

Save a search — keyword plus condition — and new matches land in a single daily digest at 8:00 AM ET. No all-day pinging.

06 — price history

What this product actually sells for.

The same products cycle through the warehouse again and again. Scout keeps score: how often a product appears and what its auctions have closed at — average, range, and the latest final bid, right on the lot page.

How it runs

Small numbers.
All of them real.

No accuracy claims, no vanity stats. These are the operating parameters of the tool — every one of them is visible and adjustable inside the app.

FAQ

The fair questions.

If something here doesn’t get answered, email [email protected] — we read everything during beta.

Where does the data come from?+

From Vista’s public auction listings for the Charlotte, NC location. Scout re-reads the full lot list every hour, so bids, bid counts, and statuses are at most an hour old.

What exactly is a “target price”?+

MSRP multiplied by a percentage you control per condition — defaults are 60% for New, 50% Like New, 45% Light Use, 35% Used, 20% Damaged. It’s a consistent reference for your own bidding, not a prediction of resale value. You can also set a manual target on any individual lot.

Are you affiliated with Vista?+

No. We’re an independent tool that reads Vista’s public listings. Scout doesn’t replace Vista — you still bid on Vista. Scout just keeps watch between your visits.

Can Scout bid for me?+

No. Scout monitors, organizes, and alerts. Every bid happens on Vista’s own site — each lot page links straight to it.

What emails will I get?+

Only the one you turn on: a daily digest at 8:00 AM ET with new saved-search matches and your watched lots ending soon. Switches off in settings any time.

What does it cost?+

Nothing right now — the beta is free, no card required. If that ever changes, you’ll hear it from us by email first, not from a paywall.
